Following Anthony Rudolf’s contribution there is a series of pieces by Young Hogan about his father and mother. He was asked for, and gave, permission to publish them but did not know they would appear here. For the sake of continuity they have been slightly edited. Readers may also wish to read online the entry on James Hogan senior in the Dictionary of Irish Biography, which was written by Margaret McCurtain, the distinguished Cork-born historian also known as Sister Benvenuta. The final item is the latest book by Augustus Young, The Making of A Pure Poet, which was published in mid-2023 as this festschrift was in preparation.
